Excellence in Broadcast Training for nearly 40 successful years!
Del Cockrell, owner and founder of American Broadcasting School, started the business in Oklahoma City in 1970.  Prior to the beginning of ABS, he worked in broadcasting for 10 years.  He recognized the need for qualified entry-level Announcers (DJ’s), Newscasters, Sportscasters, Copywriters, Production Directors, and Account Executives. Mr. Cockrell opened American Broadcasting School with 20 students per day and evening classes.
